A Little Break… and a Tiny New Friend

Today we’re taking a break from the hustle, the typing, the editing, and the “Did I already drink this cup of chai ?” moments—and we’re heading out to visit family.

But not just any family visit…

They have a new baby pig.

Yes.

A baby. Pig.

And I absolutely cannot wait to meet him.

Have you ever snuggled a baby pig?

If not, I hear it’s basically the emotional equivalent of wrapping your heart in a warm blanket and giving it tiny, squealing kisses. I may come home a completely new person.

And who knows… maybe this little guy will be the spark of inspiration for my next children’s book title.

“The Pig Who Wiggled His Way Into My Heart”?

Too much?

Probably not.

Now the real question is: What does one bring a baby pig as a snack?

A tiny apple slice?

A carrot?

A handful of cheerios?

(Do baby pigs have a sweet tooth? I feel like they do.)

Either way, I’m showing up like the world’s most excited honorary pig-Grandma.

My heart is already melted and I haven’t even met him yet.

Stay tuned—because if this little guy steals my heart, you just know he’s making his way into a story soon.

I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!
